20 kts wind. Got carried away and lanched the 12m2. Spent an hour desperately trying to keep from getting lifted from the sea into the land, twice I was close and landed on the beach. Not very clever and not fun. I tried depowering the kite to the max, but this was futile. Eventually got in and as I was about to lower the kite to rest, the no-go happened: kite swung into the full power zone and I got pull max in over the ground, thankfully managing to pull the eject/panic handle and the kite fell to the ground (in some bushes). I knackered my knee quite badly and was pretty shaken. I packed my gear quickly and got the hell out of there.

I'm on the market for a safer system (the one I have is old and just plain dangerous - because it can't depower fully - this means that I am basically driving a motorcycle that can only do from 60-90 and doesn't go all the way down to 0). All new kites systems can depower 100%.
