OH BABY! Ooooh baby: Got up at 6.30am. All family asleep while I drive the 10mins to the favorite kite spot. Racking up in the sunrise and on the water by 7.30. A beefy little wind was blowing and I was in doubt if I could handle the 12m2 and thought: f. it, we only live once and launched the mother. Oh boy was there a pull in her. Definitely the most power I have tried so far, and once I was on the water it was f... brilliant. I was really enjoying it. Superb conditions and excellent to be on the water in the morning. And then suddenly: whooosh! I get lifted like a ballon! My first jump!! It was not my initiative, but I was in fine control in the duration of the flight and landing with board and both feet on it. Boy is this fun! Watch this space.

Session ended as I am now used to: crash, bang, bum, lost board, half an hour salvaging the reckage and packing up. I love it though - definitely a sense of adventure when all is lost in the middle of the water. Note to self: I need to start wearing a lifesaver.
