![]() Register using OpenID?You have two possibilities when signing up with RiverNut: You can create a username and a password or you can use your OpenID if you have one. If you use an OpenID you do not have to create a separate password with RiverNut. You may already have an OpenID without even knowing it. For example, if you have an AOL account, a Yahoo account (and soon a Microsoft Live or Google acocunt) you can use it to log in here. Your OpenID is a URL which depends on the service you use. For example AOL users' OpenID is http://openid.aol.com/screenname. Yahoo users need to enable their openid first. OpenID is an open internet initiative which is aimed at reducing the amount of logins and passwords we use online. You can read more about OpenID here: openid.net which also shows you where you can sign up for an OpenID account for free. |
