This is a good wave for front surfing, and some spins and blunts if you're lucky. Eddy access is on river right, but it can be easy to miss the eddy if you are not quick after falling off the wave. Sometimes there is a rope to help get you back up to the eddy. You can also paddle back up to Cats Paw because it is mostly slack water between the two features.
