Description
If you started your paddling in Idaho, chances are that your first trips were down the Main. It is a popular river for both commercial and private boaters so be prepared for crowds on weekends and the put-ins and take-outs. On the positive side it means that you won't have any trouble at all finding a shuttle river.
There are some good class III rapids on the river, connected with various sections of flat water.
